Family is an important topic in A1 level German, and you can describe your family members using simple sentences:
Ich habe eine Schwester und einen Bruder. (I have a sister and a brother.)
Mein Vater ist Arzt. (My father is a doctor.)
Meine Mutter arbeitet als Lehrerin. (My mother works as a teacher.)
You can also ask about someone else’s family:
Hast du Geschwister? (Do you have siblings?)
Wie alt ist dein Bruder? (How old is your brother?)
Talking about family in A1 level German helps you share personal information and connect with others.
Recently I went on a picnic with the family, and we had really great fun making BBQ & playing games, and enjoying ourselves. The whole atmosphere was filled with talking about family, and one of my friends told me in German, they call a family Familie. When I got home, it suddenly dawned on me that my dissertation was still not done. Between all the fun and family time, I had gotten so busy that I fell behind on my university work. As the stress started to build, I asked my brother for a bit of help I never intended to cheat. He simply suggested that I search online for dissertation help, and that's where I found the support I really needed at that moment.
